I Can Haz New Laptop
Mar. 14th, 2012 11:36 pmSo my new laptop arrived late this afternoon and the evening has been spent transferring about 15GB of data across from one laptop to another... most painful has been getting iTunes to play nicely with the new laptop. This involved basically fragging my iPhone config - which is basically the lot of anybody stuck working with iTunes. Apple, it just screws you over and over again.
Anyway, the new machine is pretty much good to go, with most of the applications and data back on it. I'm sure I'll find stuff I've missed or forgotten over the next few days and we'll get them back on here.
First impressions are basically WOO HOO WOW! Seriously, it's lightening fast, cold boot to running in a minute. It weights next to nothing. The laptop and power supply are probably a tad over a kilo. I'm waiting to see if the battery lasts the 8 hours they predict.
