Scenes from an Ice Bound House

Two dogs pace the coffee table, obviously bored. Dog A and Dog B both have tennis balls they're chewing on. Dog A gets up, stalks around the coffee table and looks at the ball in Dog B's mouth. Dog A drops their ball and takes Dog B's ball. There is a tussle, Dog A walks off tail held high with Dog B's ball. They return to their beds and after a few minutes swap balls.
After a couple of repeats, Dog A takes ball and drops it on the lap of human A, picks it up and throws it at human A again and again. When human A doesn't throw the ball, it drops it on the keyboard of the laptop human B is typing on. After a few minutes it gives up and goes to annoy Dog B again.
Human B sighs, looks at the falling ice and thinks that at some stage the Dogs will need to be walked.
