Sub Optimal Morning

M spent the weekend with a sore foot - of the swollen toe, tenderness and general grumpiness variety, the weekend did not improve things so we called for an emergency doctor's appointment this morning, which was granted.

He sent us for X-Rays, which revealed... well, nothing actually.

So the consensus is Gout.  Which is hardly welcome.

I have told her, this is the LAST illness she's allowed to have this year, period.

I hope her immune system was listening.
