May. 17th, 2011 05:15 pmThere's been a spate of burglaries around here, which is weird as this is a pretty nice neighborhood and all that.
It is at times like this that I'm glad of the Chocolate Terrors being around. A guy came to the door hawking home security systems and didn't bother to walk all the way to the front door. He looked at the pair of them, looking for all the world like they wanted to eat him and moved on.
That said, it's questionable what they'd do in the event of a home invasion. I suspect that Tyson could get very aggressive if our safety was threatened. Even though, if we're around, or if he's out playing in the park, he's a genial, loveable brown lump. I don't know about the girl - she's still a bit young.
Still, I feel better knowing that our house is protected by humanities oldest protectors. Plus they're warm, soft and furry and sometimes that's very important.
