The Start Up Roller Coaster: Part... er... insert a random number

I've mentioned before that running a start up is something of a roller coaster.  One day you're up, the next you're plunging through depression...  Of course, the fun things about a start-up is you can go through several cycles in the course of a day.

The idea is, the size and nature of the oscillations should damp down eventually.  They *should* but it's not an exact science.  

Anyway, at this time, at this hour, things are looking pretty good.  How they look in a few hours is anybody's guess :) 

Missing Eastercon...

I find myself slightly sad I'm missing Eastercon.  I could head to Norwescon, but to be honest I'm a) short of money and b) so mind-buggeringly, insanely busy I couldn't do it anyway.  Still, it's been a while since I last did a convention.

OTOH Reno is coming up and I'm actually looking forward to that.   While I can't get the car, it looks like we can rent a car and drive for less than the airfares, especially if we find somebody to share the ride.  It also means I can jam the boot full of Party related goods which, given I've been crap at being able to help out at other cons so far, I intend to make up for big style at Reno.
