Calmer Now...
Jan. 13th, 2011 10:03 amI was in quite a mood yesterday, that'll teach me to read Rand Simbergs blog so early in the year. Anyway, I did watch THE speech - the one by the actual president rather than the one by the person who thinks they ought to be. It was good. A tad long, but judging by the reaction on Fox News it hit the buttons _they_ wanted it to. Which is to say I suspect that if the economy improves a smidge, there will be an almost indecent stumbling backwards among credible republicans NOT to stand in 2012.
Anyway, another day looms in the Start Up mines. CES follow up is 50% done. The VC meeting from Wednesday has been moved to next week due to the heavy snow fall the other night. I've got a bunch of financials to rework to model what I'd do with VC money and what we're doing for money over the next few months.
In the short term I've actually formally hired an accountant. That is to say I had an accountant to do accounts but now I have one to deal with the ever increasing nightmare of admin in running a business in the Land of the Fee.
There is also an outside chance I can pay myself this month, which would be super exciting.
