End of Year... er... stuff...
Dec. 29th, 2010 04:47 pmWell, firstly, some total bastard has been into the washing and shrunk a bunch of our clothes - I know it's true! IN fact, I think this belt has shrunk a little too...
Anyway, so that was Christmas. I may have over catered - we'll be having ham plus left overs for the 4th day running and there's a solid kilo of turkey in the freezer. Never mind, it was all good. I do suspect my body is looking forward to a break though.
I started the day with an extremely tough business call to make, which turned out to be ok - I had to make a decision not to do an investment deal. While the deal looked good, I do worry that we'd gone a long way down the road and there will be bad blood on both sides from the decision. BUT it was the right decision to make.
After that I had to take the niece to the airport and thence the pair of chocolate terrors to the large dog park near the airport where they suitable encrusted themselves in mud which they are now in the process of rubbing all over the house. To be honest, since we got back, the pair of them have not been in the process of doing much except curling up on their beds and sleeping.
I've been working through my to do list.
Yes, it's been an exciting day.
