Snow Patrol...
Nov. 23rd, 2010 11:34 am M decided on looking out of the window yesterday that she didn't want to work a full day. So I ran her down the hill to get some stuff from the office and her laptop. Her colleagues laughed at her African "I don't do snow" attitude and then proceeded to run like hell once it *really* started snowing.
Notes to people: I have AWD, snow chains and a fair amount of snow driving experience gained working the wrong side of the West Pennine Moor. I finished my errands and didn't leave the house again. I definitely wouldn't have tried in a 2 wheel drive car, even with chains.

This morning dawned bright and cold. I'm guessing it's about -4Cish out there and we had about 15cms of snow on the ground. So we took the dogs to the park to get them relaxed. Came home and cleared the path and pavement outside the house. (Note, this winter could get expensive in salt...) and then dealt with a neighbour's dog which got out.
All before 11am...
Now to work....
