A Start Up is a funny thing, especially if you're self funded.  There's a graph I need to find online which charts the various stages you go through doing this and it's pretty accurate.  You start with a lot of enthusiasm, ride up that curve, crash down the other side of it into the pit of things just moving, then climb again through first success and then...

You get the point.

Things are interesting now.  In the space of the last 2 weeks we've got more interest appearing in what we do than at any time since we started.  We've got real companies asking us for quotes and potentially much more work than we can cope with.  We also have some REALLY cool things.  There is something inherently nice about using something and thinking... wow, did we really make that?

It's a hell of a ride.  Anyway, this week we started getting real interest from potential investors.  I don't know if it'll come to anything, nor if we'll be prepared to take the money.  However, having a decent amount of floating capital for the business would make a lot of things easier, not least of which covering expenses and paying for more stuff to be done.

Anyway.  Things are looking good at the moment and it's s nice feeling.
