A Perfect Example of the Insanity of Healthcare in the US

I've got a link over on Atomic Razor to an article where somebody explains how a visit to the ER for some stiches cost $3000 EVEN though they had insurance.

I've actually heard about this lunacy before.

There isn't any plausible defense for this.  NONE.
