Medically Stuff
Apr. 13th, 2009 11:57 amWell, my skin tag is gone. Weird really, I've had the thing pretty much as long a I can remember. The doctor did offer it to me, but I decided against it.
She also redid all the blood work. It was a good news/bad news kind of thing. The good news. Despite the weird Fasting Blood Glucose numbers last time, they were solidly normal this time, a 78, which is good. The indicative haemoglobin test which eliminates outliers was 5.3, which is also perfectly normal.
BP 130/80 - which is pretty good.
The cholesterol was the only bad news. It's still high. Her suggestion is to try another couple of months of working on it, and then think about statins. Still even that, at 250, could be a lot worse.
