New Banking and Toast
Sep. 26th, 2008 12:01 pmWell, I didn't take my overdraft elsewhere and now I bank with JP Morgan, likewise my high interest Money Market account is now underwritten by Ameriprise because apparently, unknown to me, a bunch of money market accounts stopped operating last week... ok....
Anyway, all of this brings me to the subject of Toast, in that this is, what I think after the last few days, and baring a nasty shock tonight, the McCain campaign is now.
I was a bit concerned on Wednesday that McCain had managed a slick move with his stop campaigning and return to DC and can the debate move. The problem there John, is when you tell people that's what you're going to do. BLOODY WELL DO IT!
He blinked.
He didn't stop the campaign, he didn't get anywhere in DC, apart from looking like a poorly old guy who was a bit out of it and then he decided to go to the debate anyway.
Between that, the polls with even Ramussen and Gallup showing +3 to +5 Obama, and the Katie Couric interview, then the October surprise had better be pretty damn special because it's looking bad.
Oh, and did anybody see the Missouri polls? Apparently they're showing McCain at only +1...
