General Stuff

I will be doing my Space Camp update soon.  Honest.  I just have to get on top of the nasty "work" thing.

I have also been distracted by the US election on which I will blog as a furenerrrr at some point soon.

The current swing and mood and the emergence of the REAL Sarah Palin is, I will admit, giving me more than a slight degree of Schudenfreude.

Time to Change Banks Me Thinks

Ok, so hands up, over night my account went $11.15 over drawn.  Also over night a payment of over $5000 was credited to my account, so not overdrawn.

WaMu have charged me $11.15 when I phoned them they refused to help, transferring me with any word to a "manager" who asked for my Social Security number, which is apparently the only means they have of identifying me.  Not something I give out over the phone.  They hadn't even asked me for my account number or address.

Not a good start.

Nor was their refusal to discuss refunding the $34.00 fee associated with the Overdraft.

Now that I have a Credit Rating and a Green Card I think I need a bank.

Oh, and there is also the issue that I don't want to be caught out if WaMu goes down the tubes.

So, in these Uncertain times - who should I switch to?
