Infected Toe Time
So the trip to the emergency vet wasn't wasted. The quick was infected and needed a good clean out. The Emergency Vet also asked why he wasn't on anti-biotics and comp'd the visit, at least $25 sounds like the cost of the antibiotics and the pill pockets we bought.
They've left the bandage off and insisted we have to keep the e-collar on him for 3 days. He is now wandering around the house in a mood scraping against things and generally looking miserable as sin. He'll survive. I suspect he'll be having some chicken later as a reward.
