Ok... feeling a lot more human now. The snot monster appears to have mostly moved on, although it's cousin the lesser hacking cough is still a house guest.
The brain is feeling a lot better although miffed at not being up to going to the pub to watch the Rugby yesterday or the Spurs game today. We can't have everything and I will be catching up via my itvn box today.
I may or may not go out to watch the Oscars. M is currently curled up in bed doing a good impersonation of me a few days ago which isn't good. Anyway, I have caught up on a lot of media.
Torchwood: Still ok - haven't seen a dud yet but I've not watched the most recent.
Sara Connor Chronicles: Actually a surprise, it appears to be getting better over time. The last episode has lots and lots of interesting connotations behind it.
E
li Stone: Heh. Fluff.
City of Vice: Quite enjoying this actually, I need to read up a bit more about the Bow Street Runners - I know a lot more about the Met and the first uniformed London force.
The Last Enemy: It was ok, but frankly, I am getting a little tired of this sort of thriller. The problem with police asking everybody for ID is that a city the size of London grinds to a halt. Plus I don't think 300 people killed is enough to cause that myself.
Mad Men: Starting to really enjoy this piece of 60s nostalga
Ashes to Ashes: I'm still not sure about this. I think part of the problem is while I could relate to Sam Tyler's character in 1973 I remember 1981 a lot better and have no sympathy with Drake. Hunt is amazing, and makes up for her.
