Giving nothing away here, there's a story line in Heroes set in Cork, Ireland (Oireland to be exact) - this seems to be just over the water from Mummerset where the BBC film.  I haven't quite placed all the accents and as Piers Brosnan said in Mrs Doubtfire, "your accent is a bit all over the place."  For the deepest South of the Republic there seem to be a lot of people who think they come from Belfast and some accents that defy all analysis.

Then we look at the set dressing.  Ah, it's a pub, hmmm... looks like a fake Irish Bar in America, which is interesting, because family pubs in Ireland look very little like fake pubs in the US.  I've spotted US electrical outlets too.  There's been some right hand drive cars - but a couple of left hand drive ones have slipped through the net.  And finally, this is Ireland in the early 21st century, they have cellphones AND google.

Now Chuck.  Chuck is set in Seattle apparently.   They had a part of the story line at the water front.  They really shouldn't do that unless, like with Grey's Anatomy, they occasionally do some filming here.

I had the same experience watching the last Harry Potter film.  There is a scene of people flying up the Thames towards the House of Parliament.  They're flying West.

Only, assuming that Little Whinging is still in Surrey, unless they've done something weird, you're not going to end up on any route flying West along the Thames when your destination is in Mayfair.  That would be silly.

Next: Taxi drivers taking visiting people to central London from Heathrow via Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge.
