Busy and stuff
Sep. 7th, 2007 02:34 pm So, I've been getting quite worried about a slight tremour appearing in my thumb when I'm typing. It's been accompanied by a tingling in the little finger on the same side and pain in my forearm and shoulder. I had an appointment with the Osteopath today dealing with the whiplash from the accident. He nodded and stuck his fingers into my shoulder, "hurts? here? Here? Here?" I yowled in reply.
A couple of monstrous clicks later and the tremour and strange feeling is gone and my shoulder feels better than it has for ages. It is a weird thing the body.
My boss called me this morning to congratulate me on work I've been doing (makes a change) and to say that he wants to discuss a wider role for me in the company when we speak on Monday face to face. Interesting. He also said that while it would be fine to stay in Seattle as long as we needed, the wider role would probably ultimately be easier done from San Diego or San Francisco as we expand operations.
ook.
Maryse is delighted with the prospect, although not until she's been with MS for a year. Still, it's pretty cool to get the offer.
Tonight we're out to dinner on Kirkland Waterfront.
Saturday I'll be watching the England v. USA Rugby, then Sunday I'll be spending the morning in the pub watching more Rugby and doing something "Secret" in the evening with M for my birthday.
Monday at 4am I have to leave for the airport and Dallas.
Next Trips:
October 13/14 I'll be in the UK
November 1 to around the 7th I'll be in the UK
I've another trip to San Diego soon, and I am pretty sure I can book the Eastercon. Yay!
