Off Tomorrow

So, on the road about 9.30 - for a 7(ish) hour haul down to Grant's Pass where we've picked for the night.  Then Friday, and another 7(ish) hours down to somewhere in California, before the final 6(ish) hours to San Diego.  I've got some stuff on my iPod to drive to, we've Sirius radio for some much needed BBC world service and I've some Podcasts I'd like to catch up on.

We're just packing now and, with luck, we'll have time for a late spin in the hot tub before we hit the sack.

Of course, packing is easier for some people than others.  I'm fairly relaxed about packing.  Others in the O'Neill household are not.

Weird timing...

One of the Podcasts I have for tomorrow is from Starship Sofa, who are covering Charles Stross.  

I've been thinking a fair amount about Charlie recently, especially with his colonisation essay which was channeling something that pmcray and I were discussing on Atomic Razor a few days before.  Of course, we don't get Slash dotted like that and become a pariah to "right thinking American lads" (i.e. people of heretical ideas and Europeans)

So that will be interesting.  I'm hoping to get  a copy of Glasshouse too soon.
