My 2 mile forced march through Northern Beijing seems to have taken its toll on my throat and respiratory system and I've come down with something.  2 days of nasty scrathcy throat followed by the snot monster taking up residence in my nose.  Between that and the jetlag from China, the last thing I wanted to do on Sunday evening was board another flight.

Anyway, there we go, I did that, changed planes in Heathrow, arrived in CPH and am now here in a hot and sticky Malmo.  Fortunately the meetings are all pushed back to later this afternoon, so I can rest a little longer.  I've training to deliver this afternoon, followed by a morning session tomorrow, then a rewind of the flying.

I have found that my travel agent have screwed up and I need to discuss this with them today.  I have a 90 minute connection in Washington DC to connect to a non-partner airline flight.  That's probably not achievable.

Friday was M's dad's funeral and we got up early and went for a long walk around Green Lake.  We then had a silly lazy day involving the Zoo and an early supper at Wasabi (rapidly becomming one of our favourite Belltown places) and then home for silly DVDs.  Music and Lyrics was rather good fun actually, interesting to see both Drew Barrymore and Kristen Johnstone (Sally from 3rd Rock) playing their actual ages in a movie.  As they were making rather gentle fun of the British and South African 80s, Maryse enjoyed this more than I did, but it wasn't bad.  I see big things for Halley Bennett too.

Saturday we attended the Washington Wine Walk at Chateau Ste. Michelle.  I had high hopes for this, but between not feeling well and the organisation of the even we were both a little underwhelmed.  The tastings were limited to a ticket system and you basically got 8 tasting with your admission.  Most of the wineries had 3 wines per ticket, but some only had 1, which would be best filed under the "taking the extreme piss" category.

The whole feeling was a little like a bad English Summer Fete.

Don't think we need to go next year.

Much better.  I do recall reading the book when I went through a stint of trying to  read all the New Adventures but it didn't make too much of an impression on me.
