I don't think Jade is a racist. I think she's pig ignorant and has massive class issues which make her a problem with people like Shilpa (i.e. well spoken middle-class types). I went to public school for 2 years and then moved to my local Comprehensive. I encountered the same sort of thing turning up with the accent I'd developed over the previous couple of years. A lot of people assume you're talking down to them even when you're not.
Shilpa probably isn't helping but again, this is probably cultural. A friend of ours is a middle class Sikh guy from Delhi and he can be a nightmare when he's talking to people. Its a miracle we've not been in fights sometimes because his ability to inocently put people's backs up is legend.
Something that I am beginning to suspect is that the other girls like Danielle and Jo think she's a fake, a plant put in there to cause trouble like whatsherface last time. I don't think either of them are ready for the backlash they're going to have when they get out.
The comments about Chicken were shocking coming from somebody that age. How closeted a life has she had???
