Well, actually yes. After so many weeks of travel, or with impending travel it's kind of hard to be actually in blighty without another flight booked (that will probably change as I'm due in Sweden on Wednesday...)

I've the new doctor meeting at 9am which I can't say I'm looking forward to. I'll report back later. On the plus side, between all the various alurms I've lost some weight in the last 2 weeks, which is pretty shocking given a 2 week business trip in the US. I'll see what happens.

Tuesday they had threatened me with a 24 hour BP monitoring session, which means I'll probably work from home. I don't need travel nor the office to get me stressed. We have email and Skype these days anyway.

I was potentially heading to Asia at the end of November, but that's looking unlikely now. With all the farting around with the project and the commercial terms last week, I'll probably have to head back to the US before the end of the month. There's time for 2 more trips before Christmas.

Registered at the Doctor. On the plus side my kidney's work and I'm not diabetic. On the minus, my BP was high when they took it. Although the 3rd was lower and the nurse said she suspected that I was a classic white coat person. Anyway, let's see how it goes through the day today. I've some stressful con calls to take and some other general stuff. Although it's hard to ignore... In fact, off it goes...

Hmmm... ok, so in the Doctor's the last reading was 150/97, I've just walked back and its down to 145/92 - let's see how the day goes. It was 135/72 in the hospital on Monday.

So, I've looked into the booking options and they're closing fast. I can fly from London to Tokyo in BA Club arriving on the Thursday of the Con and then staying for 2 weeks on my airmiles - the challenge is going to be the London bit.

If we're based in Seattle then it gives us an excuse to come to the UK for a short trip first/after. However, flying 9 hours out of our way is a real pain. The alternative is to wait and try and get something from the West Coast.

Oooh... it's like having a new toy.

Basically, since I got back from the doctor, every test has been lower than the last. I've not had any serious conference calls yet, which probably is saving me. 15:00CET is the first of several which will test things.

Current reading is 121/87 which is getting into the normal range, if a little high.
