So, what I have done to myself...

I went to see a Doctor last night and the long and short of it is, I apparently have a Bursitis aka Tenis Elbow, almost certainly caused by my typing position.

I've some anti-biotics for the infection and some anti-inflamatories for the pain.

Ugh...  not nice at all.

Self Diagnosis

As a side issue, I was rather pleased with myself that my web based self diagnosis worked perfectly and was 100% correct, although the anti-biotics surprised me, getting those out of doctors these days is a nightmare. Anyway, I'll get the drugs this morning and possibly a small sling, it certainly hurts less if the arm is slightly elevated.

At last... some common sense.
