Countdown...

It came home to us over the weekend that if this thing to the US is really happening, we probably only have 8 weekends left in the UK... gosh.

I've got to try and fast-track a passport this week, then send in the US visa application. Then I'm off to Asia for 10 days, and probably back to Seattle, twice... all before the end of September.

Then we've a week in RSA for Ms dad's 80th and "the idiot nephew's" wedding, then we can move.

Bloody hell.

We'll probably have to fit in a bit of a house clearance and work out what we are packing and what we are not.

Flat for Rent (October 2006)

Anybody looking for a flat in London from October. We're told the going rate is about £1100 for a 1 bed where we are. (Ealing Broadway/West Ealing) Sadly, we'll need about that much to cover the mortgage.
