New Move Resolutions
Mar. 20th, 2006 11:38 amNow we've moved I've been trying to get some resolutions into place. Firstly I want to actually get some value out of the expensive gym membership we took out on Saturday - so far, so good. We've been twice. I'm working from home today, so I got up with M and dropped her at the station, then went and did an hour in the gym before being at the PC for 9am.
Key goal for today is to produce a draft of a business plan for the new business unit myself and one of the Swedish Business Unit Managers are trying to set up. This will include the development of a Seattle office and my proposed move there sometime in Q4 - late October is looking most likely.
This won't reduce my travel, of course. I'm back to Seattle in April - just before Eastercon. Then I'm in Las Vegas for a trade show in May, and then I suspect I'll have another RtW trip for June time frame. I've requalified for my BA Gold Card - which is pretty scary, and the question now is whether or not I can reach the next level which would be a free upgrade for 2 on a flight. We're aiming to have the airmiles to get us to the 2007 Worldcon and I think that's likely now.
Anyway, time for a cup of tea and some more work.
