So, got my tax return done today - yeah, I know... the good news is that I only owe £11.60, so with the fine limited to the tax owed I think I'll live with the £21.60 bill.
Feeling a lot better today, woke up feeling refreshed, alert and back in zone - which is good. Had a hair cut. Currently working through some admin for next week, which, as I've mentioned is the annual telecoms bash in Barcelona. [*]
It's a bit of a monster event, something like 40,000 people attend - lots of meetings, lots of business parties, lots of drinking too much and not eating enough.
This afternoon I'm off to London to see M (who is on her way back from Germany...), then a meeting in Reading tomorrow morning before back to Bath.
On Friday we've a client from Seattle visiting us, then on Saturday I'm off to London again, firstly to go over the flat, then have tea with my brother and his family, finally dinner in town. Busy busy. I then fly to Spain on Sunday.
In other news, in my "on/off" relationship with my employer, the question of the O'Neill's relocation has been raised again, and it looks like we could be in Seattle by September. It will make things interesting around the Flat but I'm sure we'll cope. It won't be a permanent move and it will be good to maintain a base in London.
[*] For many years 3GSM has been in Cannes, so this will be the first one in Barcelona. It will be quite interesting to see what affect this has on things.
