We're going to look at 3 on Saturday, all in Ealing and West Ealing.
One is incredibly close to the Broadway but it's about the size of a shoe box. The other 2 are further out but, in my mind, more interesting. Both upper floor conversions. One has a garden and a huge loft space - there's a lot of expansion potential and the next door neighbour already has a loft room and a stair from the rear balcony to their share of the garden.
The other is near West Ealing station and in amazing condition, the current owner is a TV presenter who is off to join CNN in Atlanta. It's an upper floor conversion again, with a huge loft (which has already been cleared for conversion) - but it's in our price range (in fact below what we were looking at) and reday to move into.
We could be in a position to make an offer at the weekend... that's pretty damn scary.
Was pleasantly surprised by Ealing too. Good transport links and a good range of shops. Certainly meets the up and coming criteria.
