Dentists...
Nov. 11th, 2005 01:32 pmI have a very good dentist. Technically I believe he is really excellent - he's got a lot of certificates in advanced dentisting on his wall from proper universities. However, there is something about his chair side manner that is really too much for me.
He is almost pathologically nervous about things. He's always checking you are ok, making sure he's not causing any pain, reasuring you in a quiet soto voice that you are "doing really well", in no pain, feeling well - "in and of yourself"...
I'll admit I've never felt any pain with what he does. He even uses gell to numb the gum before he puts the injection in, but it's all a little OTT.
Still, a new filling is in place.
