I'm actually saddened to hear about Ronnie Barker, in roughly the same way that I was when Eric Morecombe died. Porridge is one of the best commedies ever made, that Barker could _become_ Fletch was astounding and the range of the stories and the pathos engendered by it still makes it watchable.
Likewise, while Morecombe and Wise are not everybody's cup of tea, Eric Morecombe still cracks me up.
I can't help but feel on days like this that parts of my life are vanishing. Ugh. 37 and I feel old :(
In other news, we are at war with Taiwan - obviously meaning my office is at war with the Taiwan office. It's all very he said, she said at the moment and extraordinarily childish. I wonder sometimes if work is anything more than an extensive of the playground at school?
