Our former letting agents are idiots. They collected the post from _next door_ about 4 weeks ago and only delivered yesterday. There were 2 parcels for us, one for M, one for me. As it turns out the one for me was a copy of Half Blood Prince I'd forgotten I'd pre-ordered and thus had not changed the address on.
Weirdly, just as I realised that I got an email from Amazon telling me they couldn't deliver it and were refunded me the £11.26 I'd paid. As I actually bought my copy at Sainsbury for £8.50, I have made a profit on the deal.
Not sure this is a business plan, but I found it amusing.
Today is Saturday. I'm going to have lunch with M at the nice little Deli on Green Street, and we're going to see friend's tonight. I think I'll break with tradition and drive. My liver is still, and rightly complaining about last weekend.
MS helpfully rebooted the PC last night, so I don't have all the TV I set off. Even that was a challenge as rather than arriving as .avi files, the first episode of BSG was in a dozen RAR files, which added an extra layer of complexity. I have now assembled it, and watched the first 5 minutes... WOOH!!!! BSG, SG1, SG-Atlantis and Lost???
