I'm wearing shorts.

I thought I'd share that. There comes a point in any office without real aircon, when the temperature hits the high 20s when enough is enough.

Saw the news about the US military hissy fit. Interesting I've been involved in some rec.arts.sf.fandom threads which similar. del_c (who I spoke to by accident yesterday) warned me about these people but fool that I am I responded to gentlemen going by the names of Danny Low, David Friedman (yes, the surname does indicate a relationship with THAT Freidman) and James A Donald.

James appears to be a foaming at the mouth government hating Libertarian. Well, somebody has to be.

Our US office also decided to have a hissy fit because they wanted to spend all day next Wednesday "strategising" with us. We suggested a few hours over dinner. Apparently that is not enough. *sigh* Looks like another change of travel plans.

Anyway, on with the mundane life of the salesman. A Con Call at 11, a haircut at 12, dry cleaning to pick up at 1pm and so on.

It is very hotside but...

I seem to have managed to get the aircon unit I appropriated working quite well and a chill breeze is blowing down my neck.

I am also going to be tidying my office.

I think there is movement under a pile of filing which needs investigating...
