This weekend I was mostly eating. We went into to London to visit [livejournal.com profile] pmcray at his place in the Brentford Triangle, including dinner in The Ealing Park Tavern. The next day we drove to Chiswick for breakfast and then salied forth into central London for lunch to meet a client visiting from Seattle. We did discuss work, and also the US Election - the client not what you would call a Bush fan, was hoping that things would turn out alright.

Tomorrow, we'll find out and by a rather odd quirk of fate, I'll find out in real time as I am flying to the States on business tomorrow. By the time I'll have settled into my hotel and be ready for some caffine and alcohol, the polls on the Eastern seaboard will be starting to close. Normally staying up on arrival can be tricky, but something tells me that tomorrow I ought to have a lot to see.

Anyway, I've a lot to do today. At 10am there's a management meeting to discuss the long awaited re-structure of the company, then there's a staff meeting at 3pm for the rest of us to be told. As this quite significantly affects me, I've known the outcome for a while now, but have had to keep my mouth shut. As it stands, it's rather good news for the O'Neill household but I'll probably post on that from Heathrow tomorrow.
