Driving along in my automobile...
... the temperature guage doing a cartoon "spoing" thing at me through the dashboard.
Ok, hands up, I'd been pushing it rather hard after a traffic jam, but it was still a nasty shock to see the guage redlining. I cancelled my meetings, found a water source to top up the system and started cautiously home.
I'm pretty sure the cooling fan has buggered up. That shouldn't be a problem for most driving conditions but could spell disaster in a traffic jam. I've got to drive to London at the weekend, so I'm not all that happy about it. Still, I've just done a 100 odd miles and it behaved.
Damn, I want a new car.
