I got my passport application this morning. It's a fraction the size of its British cousin but it has different rules on who can sign a passport photo. Originally I planned to drop off in Dublin and get an old family friend to do it at TCASU who is a former Gard Commissioner. Unfortunately it seems they want serving people.

Unlike the British system where you need to give passport numbers (Note to self, don't ask Robert Newman again) and sign declarations about knowing somebody for 2 years or more, all you need is one of the following:

Lawyer, Doctor, Priest, Head Teacher or Police Officer who can be told by somebody that I am who I say I am.

Do we have any of these in Irish Fandom, particularly in Irish Fandom which might be in Dundalk in October?
