I just used airmiles for the first time, which was kind of cool, at least it was nice to have enough to use. Although I had a Oh F*** moment when I thought, hey, if I can fly to Paris with these, could I have saved us £200 on TCASU tickets?

No, not really. *phew*

Anyway. M has arranged an interview with a strategist working at the Beast offices in Paris - I might be able to arrange a meeting, alternatively I could just take a day off. Anyway, we've got return tickets on BA for a mixture of miles and cash, which make them relatively cheap.

One Expedia bargin hotel later and we have a weekend break in Paris, one which I might be able to offset the cost of if I can find a meeting to attend. Yay!

I used to work in Paris but its been some time since I was last there. Still, a change is as good as a rest they say.

Anyway, back to the phones, off to Germany and Denmark tomorrow.

The USAF have announced they intend to build an unmanned hypersonic plane capable of reaching any point on the Earth in a few hours. This is interesting, although sadly unmanned.

For many years, from the 50's onwards the SR-71 Blackbird was the worlds fastest aircraft with a top speed of Mach 4.5, it was retired some years ago and here's the strange thing.

There was no replacement.

However, since then there have been huge numbers of sightings of a triangle shaped black aircracft, and stories from very credible sources that there was something pretty weird looking and damn fast out there that had been estimated at Mach 6+.

It was called Aurora.

Now that there is to be a new spyplane, perhaps we'll find out if the Aurora was really fact. Keep your eyes open, it could be good.
