Back in the old UK
May. 4th, 2003 06:13 pmMany things on which I could Rant. On the anti-Rant side, we got upgraded which means as I sit here I don't feel like complete brain death but instead ready to enjoy my bank holiday. Although the UK welcomed us back in true UK style.
The plane was early and therefore had no stand, so we had to wait. Then the luggage took 45 minutes to arrive. Then we'd missed the train at Paddington by 5 minutes and had to wait an hour for a train which was late. At Bath we decided to get a cab (for those that now I live 5 minutes walk, we had a *lot* of bags i.e. in excess of 55kg's. The taxi arrived, failed to fit in the bags and told us that he wouldn't take us.
We got home eventually. And here we are.
I have a rant I want to write, but food beckons.
